Before Marcel Alberts founded EuroFibers he held the position of Global Marketing Manager Fiber Solutions at DSM Dyneema. He started his career at DSM Venturing & Business Development in 2000 as Technology Licensing Manager and later became Business Development Manager. He moved to DSM Dyneema in 2004 where he started as Area Sales Manager Europe. Marcel holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Chemistry and a Masters Degree in Technical Management Sciences. Leon Stijkel
Sales Manager
Leon Stijkel has a chemical engineering background and held several positions within DSM. Leon has a multi year experience at DSM Dyneema. He worked as Project Engineer for Research Technology & Development and later as Application Development and Technical Service Mananger. Jan Kriele
Business Development Manager
Jan Kriele has a technical background in textile engineering. He started his career at Monsanto as Sales Manager for Acrylics and Polyamide and later he moved to DSM Dyneema. During his 20 year career at this company he developed numerous applications for Dyneema® from scratch like fishing lines, kite & para lines, aquaculture and cut resistant gloves. Within EuroFibers Jan is responsible for Business Development for flat, twisted and spun yarn. Cees van Ommeren
New Business Engineer
Cees van Ommeren began his career at EuroFibers by helping out at the TechTextile convention 2011. His interest and knowledge regarding technical textiles grew exponential in the following months. He started his academical career in Sales and Marketing but switched to studying History after two years. With a Masters degree in Cultural Heritage he does not have the standard background one would expect. His curiosity however makes him a perfect fit for the function of new business engineer. Evaluating and exploring new options and providing support in the marketing of new products and ideas are some of the responsibilities of Cees. His main focus lies on our para-aramid products.
